Life is continuing pretty much as per normal since I wrote last, nothing super exciting.
We are working on the new house and waiting for someone to purchase our old house. With the crash on the stock market, the realtor has said people are not purchasing. People are backing up and reconsidering, so we are waiting. Waiting is hard for me -- trusting is hard also.
Back to the lesson - God is our source. God is our provider!! It is a scary place but as Tim reminds me often it is also an exciting place. We will get to see God take care of our family. It is just the process that is hard -- stretching, allowing God to work and setting aside my worries, my plans, my expectations to gain the lessons, the character that God is trying to bestow. I get so stiff-necked - it is easier to break than to stretch. So my lessons in being elastic continue. ;0)
Tim is working earnestly to get our water hooked up the new house. We had our first snow this last weekend. It is always beautiful; I love to watch the falling snow and see the ground covered in a soft blanket. The snow erases all the deformities, covers all the ugliness. When I was in high school a woman wrote an essay about how the snow reminds her of Christ's forgiveness. Everything is covered by His righteousness. Beautiful illustration.
However with the snow we have other complications and one of them is NO water. We had been running water through lines from the old house but with temperatures in the 20's that was no longer an option.
I am excited about water in the new house; Tim says no later than Wednesday! Hurray!!!!
In family news, Judah has a new friend. A little four-year old boy whose name is (get this!) JUDAH!!!! They are only about four weeks apart in age - Judah (our friend) was born in March - Our Judah was born in April. We can't even say Judah W and Judah something else because their last name also is a W. My Judah had a blast. Both of them were wrestling and playing and having entirely too much fun. Great family with FIVE boys ages 9 down to 1 year. I am looking forward to seeing our friendship with them grow. Might have to do nick-names to tell the Judah's apart however :)
Gotta skedaddle -- realtor tour is tomorrow morning at 8 am. Would appreciate your prayers.
