Howdy!

I was SO looking forward to Ang's visit -- a cold drink of water in a very dry time. We had a wonderful week with my friend and her children. Time has flown so quickly. Her kids have grown and changed.......... daughter is beautiful, athletic, and talented. Son is SO tall, handsome, smart and both of them fun to be with. They have changed sooooo much. I would imagine that our family has changed also. I don't see it as clearly because I am here every day but two years really does make an enormous difference. I know it did in their family.

I was so grateful that they chose to come to our home. We had fun at the lake and the Lord blessed us with such beautiful weather. Tim took the kids out on the tube. The water was smooth and glassy. We made s'mores in the camp ring at the beach. Nice time.

The last warm week of autumn given to Ang's family. As soon as they left the cold descended in earnest -- last week the weather was up to 80. Ever since they left we have had hard frosts every night and the wind has chilled to the bone!!!
I was invited to a mom's only tea on Saturday morning. What a nice time to refresh and renew!! Fabulous treats --- wonderful!!!!

ConfiDance was Saturday. What a marvelous evening. We were hosted by a family that owns a barn that is over 120 years old. Stonework, hand sawn boards, high ceilings --- what ambiance!!! It was a perfect evening with 80 people participating!

Sewing for Regalia starts tomorrow!!!
