My Bekah-Boo

A few of our latest moments with Bekah-boo:

Bekah was procrastinating eating her dinner and I was getting frustrated. I told her that she wasn't going to play or have dessert unless she finished her dinner. I said to her -- you know if I were you I would quickly eat your dinner so you can have dessert and so you can play outside. Silence ensued for a minute and then Bekah said but you are not me.......you would never be me.......If I were you I would eat this quickly and then I could have dessert and go out to play. Smarty-pants!

Gabrielle was giving Bekah a bath a couple of nights ago. Bekah HATES having water in her face and didn't want her hair washed. When she saw Gabrielle coming to wash her hair, she grabbed the small bucket I have in the tub for the bath toys and put it on top of her head. She looked at Gabrielle smugly and said NOW you can't get water in my eyes. Gabrielle responded that's true but how can I wash your hair when you have a bucket on your head??? No response offered :)

Yesterday I had to take KJ to the doctor -- he has an ear infection unfortunately. As I was scurrying about to get ready Joy (the neighbor girl) and Bekah came in and were rattling at me a mile a minute. I was in the process of brushing my teeth and responded through the whine of my electric toothbrush and embarrassingly also my spit to "GO PLAY!" When I was finished I came out to check on the girls and see what it was they needed. I found them in the mud room kneeling over the bench seat. I said, Girls, why are you sitting in here? I told you to go play. Their response -- OH!!! We thought you said go PRAY! We were praying!!! Then Joy added - I even prayed TWICE!
