My Judah-dude

My dad gave me a set of old mannequins he had. There is a little boy and little girl -- one of the old sets from a store window display; They are supposed to look like they are throwing snowballs at each other. It has been several years since we set them up -- we really didn't have a place to display them. However this year with the windows at the new house in the front I thought it would be nice to dig them out of storage.

Judah watched me in great anticipation as I cleaned them up and set them in the window. He was anxiously awaiting for me to plug them in and curious what they would do.

I told him that they throw snowballs at each other.

We plugged them in and the motors started warming. Slowly we watched together as the little boy started moving.

Judah watched for about 30 seconds and then looked at me with great bewilderment............

Mom, he asked, when is he actually going to throw it???

Oh well.......... I guess some of the wonder of the season requires a little LESS imagination than my son has :)
