Much to be Thankful for!

I love Thanksgiving! It is always such a good time to just stop and remember how much we have to thank God for!!!

We had a marvelous day -- Mark's family came out and our new neighbors also joined us to celebrate. We had fun playing games and talking and of course TONS of food!! We have leftovers planned with the same group tonight and tomorrow, and the next day :) Actually I don't know how many days of leftovers we have!!

We also watched UP -- very cute movie.

Today was Black Friday shopping. We got a few good deals but since the kids and I were enjoying our warm beds this morning we didn't get out in time to get some of the things we hoped. The kids had fun maneuvering the Black Friday crowds and I took them to ice cream on the way home. A fun day!

Next week Gabrielle (and I technically) are looking forward to hosting our first girl's Christmas get-together. Moms and daughters for lunch and I think a cookie exchange is planned :) It should be a fun day. I need to do better about having our friends and family over for fun things. The days get consumed in the day-to-day chores and I don't celebrate moments enough..........

Okay, that was somewhat melancholy but true :) I am working on doing more fun things with friends. Life is too short to forget those memory making moments.

I need to scoot - need to get things ready for our left-overs celebration dinner :) I hope your Thanksgiving was fabulous!
