Howdy!

Not too much to report at present........

I am still working on my "new groove" with precious Koliah added to our family. We saw the doc this last Monday for his two month check. Can he really be TWO months old already?!?!?! He is 13 pounds and 1 oz now and 24 inches long. He just started smiling a little this week also. I love those first looks of recognition and the beautiful little smiles and grins. I can't wait until they are more common!

Tim and the older three have been hunting -- yes I said three. Josiah is hunting this year as well. In fact, he and Tim both got elk this last week. What a blessing!!!

Probably our biggest news for this whole post is that Josiah got a bull and Tim got a 5 point bull. Of course Gabrielle and Elijah are working hard to get something of their own now!

On days we aren't hunting we have been just doing school and chores. I am canning applesauce this weekend with the remainder of the apples we picked in California. Just day-to-day stuff.

I am teaching at PEARLS on the fruits of the spirit. I am challenged that they are not exemplified in my life as they should be. Scripture talks about the ground bearing out 30, 60 and even 100 fold yields. Some of the fruits of the Spirit in my life are struggling to stay green
Definitely a long way from 100 fold yield :)

It is good for me to teach the girls -- it makes me examine my own life more thoroughly.

Thanksgiving is so soon!!! It is my favorite holiday!!! It is good for us to stop and take time to reflect on how BOUNTIFULLY BLESSED we really are!!!! Windbiglers and our new neighbors are going to join us for Thanksgiving -- it is always sweet to be surrounded by friends and family.

I need to get back -- Josiah and I are going to stamp some cards if Koliah will cooperate :)
