Easter Updating

Well...... Easter did not go as planned at our house but a blessed day nonetheless. We got home Saturday night after our ConfiDance (the home-schooling dance event) and two more children started in with the flu. Plans were cancelled/rescheduled.

Tim saw the doctor today for a recheck -- the doc cut his cast off and we got to see his wound. Everything looks great and is healing well. They recasted him and he will see the doctor again on the 14th to be taken out of the cast and fitted for his hinged brace. Tim decided that he needed a holder built into his cast for his MP3 player. The nurse obliged him although she said that it was a first for her. Tim had brought wooden blocks to measure out the space. He said he needed to accessorize :)

Gabrielle also had a HUGE event today. She had decided to donate her hair to Locks of Love. She picked a cut she liked and they cut her hair to match --- she was able to donate 11". She looks great and my heart was blessed with her generosity. She doesn't want to keep it short; she wants to grow it back out again but she said it will be fun for the summer to have things short and simple. I will post a pix of her new look as soon as I can.
