Bekah LOVES to be a mommy - she is always carrying around babies and telling me how she is caring for them. Since we had Koliah of course this has become an even stronger aspect of her personality.
She tried to convince me when we went to the hospital that she needed to go also because her baby was coming too.....
Since we have got home she has mothered her "babies" with all of Koliah's equipment - they have tried the swing, the playmat, the tub.....they have also been changed, burped and nursed. God has a put a strong desire in her heart to care for little ones.
Well that also means I babysit for her a lot. Yesterday her baby was a large teddy bear. She "nursed" it and "burped" it and then asked me to hold it for her while she did some "chores" As I dutifully took the baby from her she told me --- Mom, you need to watch his head!!!
I had to contain my giggles and apologize profusely for my error!! :)
