Well...... I am going to give this a try. Several friends/family members have created blogs for the purpose of keeping in touch with those more distant from them. That is my hope also. I am going to make a serious effort to keep it updated so that if you want to know what our family is up to you can easily give us a look.
Gabrielle's eyes lit up at the prospect of having a place to post her thoughts and happenings also. So I seriously doubt I will be the only one posting but I will probably do the majority of it.
Life keeps us busy, probably too busy if the truth must be known but it seems something is always vying for my attention and time. One of my life verses is:
And this I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight. So that you may surely learn to sense what is vital and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value – Philippians 1:9-10a (Amplified)
It is a constant struggle for me to find what is vital not only for me personally but to help guide my children in the same principle. Life is full of good things but finding what is vital and of real value -- to find what is NECESSARY - is a task in itself.
In Walker news, I finished up our annual update and hope to have it in the mail next week. Many of you have emailed requesting pictures of our new house, the kids, and our activities. I obviously cannot mail all of those so I am hopeful that this forum will also give me the opportunity to keep current pictures available for you to view.
I will still try to answer emails personally - I wouldn't like being answered on a blog so I will try not to answer you here either.
Tim is still out in the wilderness hunting with his cousins. We are anxious for him to be back home. I looked over my shoulder last night as I was finishing up our letter and saw sleeping bags everywhere. My children had decided to camp out with Mom for the night. Six children piled everywhere. It took my breath for a minute -- I truly am blessed. I love my kids.
Aunt Marilynn and Uncle Gavin are coming to visit Mark, Lynde and Sammy. I am so excited to see them and be able to share our Thanksgiving table with them again.
Well...... I need to scoot for today. I have numerous things that need my attention today. Tim should be home tomorrow or Friday. Can't wait!!! Have a marvelous day!!!
